‘FROZEN ROPES HITTING ACADEMY’
5th Annual HITTING CAMPS & PRIVATE LESSONS

Frozen Ropes Fall Ball Hitting Camp:  Sessions will be Saturday mornings.  Players will hit within stations and receive instruction.  This Camp is designed to coincide with Fall Ball Leagues.  It will give players an opportunity to get additional instruction and get some swings in prior to their Sunday double headers.

Cost: $175 per player
Date: Saturday's beginning September 6, 2014
Duration: FIVE - 1-HOUR sessions on Saturday
Times: 9 - 10AM, 10:15 - 11:15AM, 11:30 - 12:30PM, 12:45 - 1:45PM

Frozen Ropes Winter Hitting Camp: This will be our 5th year facilitating this very popular camp.  12 - 14 weekly sessions will begin November 1st.

Fee: $275 per player (FREE Frozen Ropes T-shirt)
Date: Saturdays or Sundays beginning November 1, 2014
Duration: 12 - 14 consecutive 1-hour sessions on Sunday's
Times: 9 - 10am, 10:15 - 11:15AM, 11:30 - 12:30PM, 12:45 - 1:45PM

Rip City Fastpitch organization-wide tryouts will be held in August, at Sunset High School (see times below). All girls planning to try out must register.  Please complete the online application, print and bring the form with you.

Rip City 98’ (Jaekel) 16A just completed an outstanding season with a 9th place finish at W. Nationals in Fresno, CA.  We have 3 spots available for the 2015 season and will be holding a workout Thursday, August 7th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Sunset HS Varsity Field. 

If you are interested in one of our open spots for the 2015 season and would like to attend our workout this Thursday please contact me (Matt Jaekel @ 503-504-6416 or by e-mail at jaekelm@dnb.com). 

We will be a 2nd year 16A team that will look to qualify for ASA Nationals, PGF Nationals, USA Preps Nationals and will attend the Triple Crown World Series.

Coaches: Spencer Mills & Greg Garcia along with Harvard Grad & assistant Varsity Coach at Roosevelt High School Mari Zumbro. Mari played Pitcher and INF at Harvard. Adding to our coaching staff is Jody Saunders, recent graduate from XXX. Jody is the team's nutritionist.

Our 14,16,18U Gold teams will once again play a combination of showcase and qualifying events. We are dedicated to traveling to the events that have the best draw of College coaches and the opportunity to play against the nations best teams.

Rip City Fastpitch prides itself on player development at all levels and was established to provide an opportunity for girls to participate in a high-caliber fastpitch softball program.  We have designed our program to build an understanding of the game, develop the specific skills required to become highly competitive players, while providing a positive, enjoyable environment for families. Rip City 98 - Valley Invitational

16A Rip City 98' - Jaekel played in the Gold Bracket Championship capturing 2nd Place at the Valley Invite Division III Exposure Tournament this weekend in Hillsboro, OR. Rip City 98' went 6-1-1 for the weekend losing in the championship game to RC Bombers 9 - 8.

Rip City 12A Wins State

Congratulations to the 12U Rip City Rage team for winning the 2013 Oregon ASA Class “A” State Tournament. Outstanding overall team effort allowed the girls to go 4 - 1 over the weekend to capture the state title. The win earned the team a bid to the 2013 ASA 12U National Tournament in Chattanooga, TN. Great work ladies!!!
